Junior / Senior Champ

Power - 10 HP Animal kart racing motor

Kayla ran the 2008 season in the Junior Champ division at 106 Racepark, winning her fifth straight championship in the process. Towards the eand of the season she was permitted to run with the Senior Champ division, a division set aside for the faster and more experienced drivers in karting. Kayla held her own against some of the best drivers in New England, with a LESS POWERFUL MOTOR!

The car has NOT been sold and it is currently NOT FOR SALE. Kayla is hoping to run a few races at 106 Racepark in 2009 and possibly try her hand at dirt racing as well in the kart.

Jr Sportsman Champ

Car - Junior Sportsman Champ (racing kart)

Weight - 335 pounds

Power - 5 HP Briggs and Stratton (race modified, getting around 7 HP)

Est. Top Speed - 70+

Kayla drove a Junior Sportsman Champ for two seasons, winning the championship in both seasons. At Londonderry Raceway she was known as "The Draft Princess" because of her expert usage of the draft and her superior kart control. The kart has been sold to Jack Walker for campaign in the 2009 season at 106 Racepark. Jack is a two time champion himself in a kart that can win titles with relative ease... watch out for him in 2009. Kayla plans on visiting Jack whenever she gets a chance to support him, and her old car.

Kayla won several championships and numerous races in this kart. It was her first kart, which she started racing when she was seven years old. The kart has been retired and now sits on a shelf (in almost race ready condition) in the Cazares garage, making it her largest trophy of all.
