Kayla's first race on Saturday night was scary by AWESOME! Her first comment after her race was"my car looks like a race car now!" Kayla had a great time and knows this is where she wants to be. "I liked my champ karts, but I really love my Super Street!" What an awesome feeling! David, myself and Kayla would like to thank her crew and what a crew we have. We would also like to thank our family, Deryl Morley, Chris Martin, and Kaylas good friend Sharra for coming out to support her in her first race. Kayla's crew will be very busy tonight as her car is still not where they want it to be. Kayla finished 7th in her first race. We were shooting for a top ten towards the middle of the season. Kayla shocked us all and impressed the heck out of us! Well done Kayla! Hope to give you a better car this week.

Kayla's opening race day was Friday May 6th. It did not start out so well in practice and in the heat. The car was really tight and Kayla needed to get comfortable as she was missing her lines. This all changed when it came time to run in the feature. With the help of her crew and pep talk from Dad, Kayla took home 6th place out of 16 cars! She started out in the back  of the pack ,and made some of the best passes and saves ever in her stock car . It wasn't a first place finish however it was a win for the whole team!

Kayla had one of her best races Friday night on August 6th at Lee. She started 6th in her heat and finished 4th. She started 7th in the feature. Kayla was staying up with pack of leaders . Kayla got a  flat tire and had to come in for a pit stop. Her crew was on fire that night. They managed to change the tire, and duck tape the front fender together. They were so quick Kayla stayed on the lead lap.  A very impressive finish for Kayla as her tow was out 1 1/2 and her front center link was bent. Congrats Kayla for your 5th place finish out of 17 cars! Special thanks goes out to the crew and Uncle Ivan...You guys are AWEWSOME!
